How much does it cost to ship my order?

We offer an array of shipping options from FedEx and the United States Postal Service that vary in price depending on the shipping method. Use our shipping estimator in the view cart screen to find out how much each service is for your order.

I placed an order that contains a Back Ordered Item. How and when will it ship?

Shipping charges for your order are calculated based on a single shipment. As such, any orders containing back ordered products will be held until all of the parts have arrived, and your entire order will be shipped together. If you wish for the parts that are in stock to ship right away, we recommend placing one order for in-stock parts and a separate order for any back-ordered parts. If you have already placed an order that contains mixed items and you wish to have all in-stock parts shipped ahead of time, we will need to collect additional shipping fees to cover the additional shipping cost.

Can I ship my order same day AFTER 9am?

Yes. We offer a service called Rush Order Processing that guarantees same day shipping for orders placed prior to 4PM (CST). This service costs $15 in addition to regular shipping charges, applies to FedEx shipments only, and MUST be requested by phone (615-266-1420).

The Post Office or FedEx says my package was delivered, but I never got it!

Occasionally a carrier will scan a package as delivered before it arrives at the final destination. When this happens, the package is usually delivered within the next few business days.

If you've waited a couple of days and you still don't have the package: Please note that while we sincerely empathize with your situation, Tiger Imports, like every other online merchant, has one thing to go by in order to 'prove' a package has been delivered: Delivery Confirmation. This is the industry standard to which we all adhere and use as a basis for confirming shipment delivery. As such, any order Confirmed Delivered by the shipping carrier is not eligible for a refund or replacement. Tiger Imports can provide tracking information or trace assistance, but we are not responsible for Confirmed Delivered packages that you are unable to locate.

What happens if my order is returned to sender?

Tracking information is provided with every order we ship via email. If delivery of your shipment has been attempted or if your shipment is being held at your local post office, it WILL be shown under your tracking information. Therefore, it is your responsibility to ensure the collection of any held or max-attempted shipment.

Whether you intentionally refuse the package or the shipping carrier reached their 'Delivery Attempt Maximum' (3 attempts for FedEx) or 'Hold Time Maximum' (7 - 14 days for USPS), if your package is returned to Tiger Imports by the shipping carrier, your order will be restocked and refunded less the cost of shipping. We will NOT ship it again for free. If you would like us to reship your order, just place a new order and be sure to double check the Ship To address provided.

Why did my order take longer to arrive than quoted?

Please remember that all transit times are quoted in business days and that any orders placed after noon (CST) will not ship out until the following day. For example, if you place an Overnight order at 6pm on a Friday, your shipment cannot actually leave our store until Monday, which means it will arrive Tuesday. Note that the same shipment, if ordered at 11am on Monday would still arrive on Tuesday. For orders placed on Wednesday after noon (CST) using 2-day shipping, your order will leave our warehouse on Thursday and your package will arrive Monday. Note that the same shipment, if ordered at 11am on Wednesday would arrive on Friday. This works across the board for ALL online merchants because shipping companies like FedEx and the Post Office do not include weekends or holidays in their shipping estimates. The above shipment would not arrive until Wednesday if that Monday was a Federal Holiday such as memorial day.

Please take this into consideration when ordering towards the end of the week.

International shipping is just an estimate. Once your item(s) ship from our warehouse, we have no control over the speed in which your package is delivered. Sometimes orders will arrive before the estimated number of days, sometimes orders arrive after.

What are your policies for LTL / Freight Shipments?

Some of our items (typically oversize ride ons) are too large to ship ground and must ship via LTL Freight truck. Freight trucks vary in size from 26 foot box trucks all the way to full size 53 foot 18 wheelers. We will typically call our customers to discuss LTL shipments prior to shipment, but there are two very important things to consider when ordering a large LTL shipped item.

Ship your LTL order to a Business address if at all possible.
  1. Business addresses receive shipments Faster.
  2. 'Delivery Exceptions such as 'undeliverable address' or 'customer not available' are much less likely to occur to business addresses.
  3. Residential addresses are not typically setup to accommodate 18 wheelers, and property damage such as cracked pavement or destroyed gardens / lawn sections can result.
  4. Delivery attempts to a residential address that are unsuccessful (customer not at home) are billed at a rate of $50 per attempt in addition to standard charges.
Avoid LTL Surcharges

LTL Shipments are very costly even under ideal circumstances; however, there are items that can increase your ship cost even more. Tiger Imports charges the base cost to ship your LTL item, which 99% of the time, is the only cost you will ever have to pay.

However, customers requiring special accommodations such as a lift gate or who miss delivery attempts will be required to pay the additional fees charged to Tiger Imports by the freight company. The standard lift gate fee is $75 - Note: since most ride on vehicles ship freight due to size, not weight, as long as you have one able-bodied individual available to assist with unloading, a lift gate should not be necessary.

Your Order Status & How to Order

How do I check my order status?

In order to view your order status online, you must have created an account by entering a user name and password when you originally placed your order. If you did create an account, simply log in using the form on the right side of the Tiger Imports home page, click My Account, then click the Order History tab. If you have forgotten your user name or password, you can Contact Us requesting a user name or password reset.

My card was declined due to an AVS mismatch. What is this?

This means that the Billing Address or Zip Code on file with your credit card company does not match the billing information entered at checkout. If you feel this is an error, we suggest contacting the card issuing bank using the telephone number on the back of the credit card. Have them verify the zip code on file.

Please note that Tiger Imports has no control over cards being accepted or declined. Canadian customers getting this error should make sure NOT to place a space between the 6 characters in their postal code. All other International customers have to use PayPal as our processor will NOT recognize your postal codes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If your card has been declined for any reason, the charge amount will show as a PENDING charge in your credit account for up to 72 hours. Although it may look like a normal charge on your online statement, it will NEVER actually hit your account.

I found the same product listed by Tiger Imports for a different price on another site. Is there a difference?

Tiger Imports sells certain products through sites as a third-party merchant. Prices for the same product or service may vary from our site; however, you will receive the identical product and level of service from Tiger Imports regardless of where you choose to make your purchase.

International Shipping & Orders

Do you ship Internationally?

Yes, Tiger Imports currently ships to all countries to which USPS and FedEx service. Please note that our shipping estimator may not work for your International Order, so you will want to proceed to checkout step 2 to see your shipping quote. Also, if you reside in a country outside the United States and Canada will HAVE TO use PayPal to pay for your order, as your address format will not match with the format of our credit card processor. PayPal accounts are very easy to setup at www.paypal.com

Why is shipping for my International order so expensive?

As with our ground services, Tiger Imports charges our cost to ship Internationally. We do NOT inflate shipping prices going outside of the United States. Considering the high shipping cost, we highly recommend checking parts diagrams, model numbers, and full product descriptions to ensure the parts you are ordering are correct.

Why is shipping for my International order so slow and hard to track?

The old saying "you get what you pay for" describes International Shipping very accurately. 1st Class Mail International is drastically cheaper than all other International Options, it is also drastically slower (2 - 10 weeks) and comes with virtually NO tracking information. Priority Mail is the next step up and ships a little faster than 1st Class (1 - 4 weeks), but it also comes with virtually no tracking information. Both FedEx Economy International (3 - 5 days) and FedEx Priority International (1 - 2 days) ship incredibly fast and come with highly detailed tracking information; however, they are more expensive. We ship over 99% of the orders we receive within 1 business day; however, once we ship your order we have NO control over how fast it is delivered and how much detail the carrier provides you. If you're willing to live with slow ship times and no tracking information, use First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. If you want a fast shipping time as well as tracking information, we recommend using the FedEx options.

What are the customs fees / duties for my International shipment?

Customs fees are NOT included in your shipping charges when you place your order. Tiger Imports has NO way of calculating customs fees or duties for your International shipment. The fees are based on the value of the shipment, so if you would like a duties estimate, you can contact FedEx or USPS with the order total and ask what they expect your Customs Fees to be. Customs Fees and Duties are the BUYER's responsibility. Tiger Imports is in NO WAY responsible for any Customs Fees or Duties related to your order.

Please note: We will not provide false data as to the contents or value of your order to reduce your customs fees, so please do not ask.

Why is Tiger Imports asking me for additional shipping on my International Order?

There are very rare instances where Tiger Imports will require additional shipping on International Orders to cover our cost to ship. This issue often arises when an International Order calls for an uncommon ride on part that has a weight in our system that is off by a pound or two. While this weight difference may only make a difference of $0.50 to $1.30 domestically and never get noticed, one pound can make a $30 to $40 difference on International Shipments.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused when such a mix up occurs; however, Tiger Imports will NOT pay such an extreme difference in shipping cost to send your order. If such an error should occur with your International Order, we will ask you to accept our sincerest apologies and either pay the difference or have your order refunded in full.

How much does it cost to ship my International Shipment?

Please add your items to the cart and proceed to Step 2 of checkout to see an International Shipping estimate. Our shipping estimator will not work for INT shipments and we will not look up quotes on an individual basis.

Payment for your order is not requested until Step 4, so you are under no obligation to purchase by proceeding to this step.

How do I send a return? Do I need an RMA number?

You can send your return by printing the return form found here. Simply put your order number in the box and fill in the requested information. No RMA number is needed.

What are your return policies for ride on parts?

Can I return an item for exchange?

No, items cannot be returned for an exchange. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the item you no longer want, and simply place a new order for the item you do want. We will issue a refund for your returned item as normal. This makes the process faster and simpler.

Do you charge a restock fee for returns?

Standard returns are assessed a 15% restock fee which will automatically be deducted from your return. Customers returning an item in order to purchase another from Tiger Imports will have a reduced fee of 10%.

Please note our costs to process, handle, and inspect returns are significant. Many merchants selling the same products do not allow returns at all. These minor fees are strictly to recoup our costs for handling your return.

What are your return policies?

Products that are not eligible for return and will be sent back to you at your cost and expense if received by us: ALL Keyboards sold by Tiger Imports are eligible for store return within 30 days. As of April 1st, 2012 All keyboards returned directly to Tiger Imports, and not sent to the manufacturer for RMA, will be assessed a 15% restocking fee. No exceptions.

Make sure your keyboard is clean before shipping sending it in for repair. Keyboards with large amounts of filth and debris not only cause a health concern for our techs, but also take a great deal of time for us to clean. Such keyboards will incur cleaning charges ranging from $10 - $40 based on severity.

Local Repairs

I would like Tiger Imports to repair my Peg Perego, Power Wheels, or Razor Ride On locally.

Trust Tiger Imports to handle your local repair professionally and expeditiously. You can bring your vehicle in for repair any weekday 9am - 6pm (CST). We'll do our best to fix it while you wait, but may need to keep it longer depending on the repair and part availability.

'Under Warranty' repairs are Free. 'Out of Warranty' repairs are $30 for labor plus the cost of parts + tax.

How long do I have to pickup my repaired vehicle?

As you know, ride on vehicles are NOT small. They take up a great deal of real estate. As such, we ask our customers to pick their repaired vehicle within 1 week of repair completion (time starts once repair is complete - not when the vehicle is dropped off).

Repairs held longer than 1 week will be charged a $15 / week holding fee ($15 minimum). Repaired vehicles left at our store for over 4 weeks will become the property of Tiger Imports and will be discarded or auctioned off at our discretion.

Part Repair & Installation

Do parts come with Instructions?

Most of our parts do not come with printed instructions; however, they are very rarely required since we provide Free downloadable PDF User Manuals, Detailed Parts Diagrams, and Wire Diagrams. All of these resources can be found by visiting peg-peregoparts.com and clicking your vehicle.

Tech Tip: Make notes while removing your old part. This will help you remember where tabs and wires should go on the new part you're installing.

How can I tell if my battery or charger is bad?

Just turn the nob to '200' DCV on your Battery Tester, and touch the leads to your battery or charger.

Product Specific Issues

I just received my Peg Perego battery and it

Since less than 1% of batteries are actually dead on arrival, your problem is likely one of two possible scenarios:

1) Something else is wrong with your vehicle that is causing it to not function.

The easiest way to determine this is to connect the vehicle to another working battery and ensure it works. If you don't have access to another Peg Perego battery, you can test the voltage of the battery with a volt gauge / multi-meter [be sure your meter is set to D/C current NOT A/C]. A new battery should read between 12.4 and 13.5 volts depending on the last time it was charged and the meter used to test it.

2) The battery harness adapter has come loose underneath the casing.

Test this by using a volt meter on the battery. If it reads '0' (DC), then the wires are lose. If the battery were 'dead' it would be greater than 0, just not the 12 volts it needs to be.

You can remove the blue case top and reconnect the harness to the terminals. It's a very simple fix; however, the case is sometimes brittle and it may snap with too much force. Use the thinnest tool with a claw you have access to (small hammer, etc.) to pull out the side case pin (where the handle connects to the blue casing). Do your best, but don't worry if you break the case because #1) this won't affect the battery #2) we'll send out a new case for free within 30 days of your purchase date. If it has been over 30 days since you ordered your battery, you can find the case pieces here.

My Peg Perego Battery has a Cracked Case

In early 2012, a batch of 12 Volt and 24 Volt battery cases was made using the incorrect plastic resin and, as a result, the case is prone to breaking during shipment. If this happens...
  1. Contact Us to report the problem.
  2. Tiger Imports will send you a new case free of charge.
  3. The battery is OK and will work fine while you wait for the new case to arrive.
